We must learn to walk with Jesus. He shows the way in John 14:23, “If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” Brother Fox shows us how to walk with the LORD.

Mark 16:17-18 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents (satan); and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Bro. Hopson teaches that the church is an Emergency Room to treat sick and hurting people. He shows how proper church authority, structure, praise and worship, all function together with the Holy Spirit to flow in healing, and deliverance from the power of the enemy for God’s people.

Cheryl Batts – EXECUTING JUDGMENT ON THE KINGS IN YOUR LIFE
Sister Batts begins with a discussion of the term king in the spirit world and asks what king is controlling parts of your life? In Ps 149:8 we are given power to execute judgment on kings and nobles to bind them with fetters of iron! To obtain victory over the kings in your life, you begin with rebelling against your flesh by (1) changing your mind and deciding you won’t do that anymore (2) humbling yourself and admitting that you cannot do it by yourself (3) become accountable to your spiritual leadership (4) guard your mouth and speak no evil (5) have a regular routine of fasting (6) you begin to speak good with thanksgiving and finally (7) bind the strongman (king) and call upon God to drive him out.

05LHCD7-5 Carla Butaud – EXPOSING THE ENEMY
Jer. 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has good plans for us – plans of peace and hope. Our enemy, the devil, also has plans for us, to steal, kill and destroy (Jn 10:10). We need to be aware of the devil’s devices and the weapons of our warfare to prosper. Carla discusses some of the devil’s most effective devices like unforgiveness, fear, worry, negative confession, temptations, accusing the brethren and making you feel offended with God and then how to defeat these devices. She reminds us “that greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 Jn. 4:4.

05LHCD7-6 – Dr. William Null – SPIRIT OF BONDAGE
Rom 8:15 “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Dr. Null presents a picture of the spirit of bondage, as a strong mind control spirit which interconnects with the various strongmen present to coordinate a unified attack to control the subject in which it dwells. The spirit has many tentacles through which it coordinates the attack. The spirit’s mode of operation is discussed along with the necessary steps to disable and expel the spirit. Deliverance prayer follows this teaching.

Prov 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” The most common causes of curses are words from your own mouth and disobedience to God’s law. The tongue is an unruly evil and full of deadly poison. No man can tame the tongue, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, a person can stop cursing themselves and their family. The words you speak can affect the lives, health and future of you and your children. Bro. Hopson offers suggestions of how to stop cursing yourself and to cancel previous curses.

Rom 13:1-2 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” Bro. Landry reviews Isaiah 1:1-6 to show the results of rebellion against God – head is sick, heart faints, no soundness, wounds and bruises and putrifying sores. He then shows how rebellion against authority affects the church body and plagues Christians with illness and deception. The service closes with prayer for repentance and deliverance.

05LHCD7-9 – Dr. William Null – RESULTS OF PRIDE
Prov 21:24 “Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.” Dr. Null traces the results of pride through Scripture. The main fruits of pride are rebellion, stubbornness, scoffer, bitterness, shame, deception and bondage (Neh 9:16-17;29). Since rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft or divination (I Sam 15:23), pride opens you to occult and anti-christ spirits. Bitterness, which flows from rebellion, affects the immune system and causes many disease processes. Repentance and forgiveness prayers and breaking of curses are included. Service concludes with deliverance ministry.

John 8:44 -Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. If you believe the lie of the enemy it can hinder your ability to hear God clearly. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. (Jn. 18:37) (1 Tim 4:1-2) This can cause you to be unstable and tossed about by every wind of doctrine (Eph 4:14) Bro. Chris presents Scriptural foundation for one to know the truth and be set free.

Phil 4:6,7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Carla begins with a review of Scripture to show God wants His people to pray and ask of Him in their daily lives. She shows how to address the enemy of your soul and take dominion over him. Since God gave Adam dominion over His creation animals, plants and weather, she teaches how we can take dominion over them also and have our prayers answered. This is an excellent teaching on successful daily living in victory.

Mark 9:29 – And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing,
but by prayer and fasting. – This teaching begins with a discussion of
intercession using Acts 12:2 (praying for Peter’s release from prison). Bro.
Nathan goes on to cover praying for the sick (Jam 5:14-16). He defines fasting
and explains it according to the Hebrew and Greek meanings, and then shows how
fasting combined with prayer, will break the chains of bondage. This service
concludes with both Nathan and his wife, Janie, discussing the marriage covenant
then having the couples in attendance come forward to renew their vows. He
imparts a blessing on the married couples present. Though you were not present
in the service, you can participate at home, renew your vows and be blessed.

2 Cor 3:17 “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Dr. Null starts this teaching by showing that in life you will be offended and placed in tribulation (Acts 14:22; Matt 18:7). How we respond to these offences determines our physical & spiritual health. We must respond in love and not in the flesh. Dr. Null explains how to do self-deliverance in your daily living to prevent these demonic beings from entering back into your life.

Rom 8:21 “Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” We have been called into a lifestyle of liberty in Jesus Christ. Jesus came to set the captives free. Sister Batts encourages believers to seek the Spirit of the LORD because where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty. This is done by facing the truths, denying self and becoming obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

I Pet 3:9 – “Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.” In Num 6:22-27, the Jesus instructed Aaron and his sons – the priests – to bless His people. Since God has made us a kingdom of priests to Himself (Rev 1:6), we are instructed to bless His people. We must guard our mouths and speak only that which bears grace (blessing) to the hearer (Eph 4:29). As we bless and curse not, we will inherit a blessing.

This was a wonderful session of reflections by various ones who shared their hearts concerning what living at LHBC meant to them at the time and how it has helped them through the years. Among those sharing are Kevin & Patti King of LHBC, Diana Pena of La Feria, TX, Sandra Schepers of Fairmont, NE, and Don Magallanes of Pascagoula, MS.

05LHCD7-17SUN Dr. William Null – HAVING AN UNDERSTANDING HEART
(This our regular Sunday morning service, right after this camp meeting.)
Prov. 9:10 – The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Dr. Null teaches on the parable of the sower. The seed (Word of God) that fell on the wayside (the hard pathway) is stolen by Satan because the hard heart lacks understanding. He then discusses the three types of hard hearts. First, is the unsaved person whose heart is blinded by the god of this world. God must remove the veil over his heart. This requires intercessory prayer by believers. Second, is the new or baby Christian who needs instruction, support, encouragement and prayer by mature believers. Third, is the Christian who has had their hearts hardened by sins due to seductions by the world and are in rebellion. This requires gentle, firm correction by elders and overseers. Dr. Null then outlines a program to obtain and broaden understanding to grow in the LORD and yield much fruit.
